Katie Jo Moran - formerly, Katie Jo Wachter - is a 2023 BFA graduate of Chicago's American Academy of Art College, and now resides as a remote multimedia illustrator in Rockford, Illinois. Katie works with a wide variety of projects types and palettes as a creative. This includes, but is not limited to: concept art, character design, package and product design, traditional animation, and other personal work focused on teen and young adult audiences.
Katie has been passionate towards creative work all her life; mainly with a focus around strange and bizarre subject matters. She believes in bringing fiction to life for audience enjoyment and the experience of self exploration; and her creative work exists with the purpose of promoting strong, colorful imaginations for audiences of all ages. Today, Katie continues to explore and push her skills to find what art truly means to her in this lifetime.
